“OUR BR00D” is a role-played (improvised) experiment that takes place through the lens of a fiction theory narrative centred around the possible relationship between human procreation and the advancement and spawning of Artificial Intelligence. The work addresses socio-political myths, fairytale oppressions and political lynchpins that have come to make up our Westernised “maternal imagination”. The investigation and execution of training an AI as one would a newborn baby, in a non-conventional family setting akin to alloparenting where the inputs and outputs speak to the social chaos of a domestic landscape will underpin the entire work.
“OUR BR00D” is a collective investigation into Identity – between being human and the sentient domesticity of machines – raising questions on new ways of imagining translation and being part of a communal network. The work aims to broker alternative landscapes of awareness situated in complex entanglements of direct physiological and psychological affects of new technological kinships. By speaking from a position of domesticity and code, the work subverts and mutates the sci-fi world domination or enslaved narratives of AI, opening alternative and transformative ventures of existing together.
OMSK Social Club invites viewers into the liminal threshold between processing code and domestic reality—a sonic architecture purpose-built for the specific resonances of the space feeds original sound scripts from the role play throughout the rooms. In addition to this The Lab of the Made and the Born is heated to 37°C, the temperature of a human womb.

OUR BR00D by OMSK Social Club is commissioned by Moderna Museet ArkDes and Nieuwe Instituut as part of this exhibition with developmental support from Shedhalle (Zürich), Callie’s (Berlin), and Haus der Kunst (Munich) as part of the Art & AI programme of the Kulturstiftung des Bundes. Following Stockholm, it will journey to Rotterdam in 2026 and Munich in 2027.
